ACE Logistics is committed to providing sustainable and efficient transport solutions for your business. In line with the European Union’s environmental policy and updated road tax rules, changes to the CO2 and road tax rate for road and sea transport will apply from 15 January 2025.
Key changes:
Environmental initiatives: New EU measures such as the Green Deal and Fit for 55 include changes to road tax and CO2 rates to promote a more sustainable future.
Road infrastructure: In many European countries, increased road taxes reflect investment in road maintenance and sustainability.
CO2 tax on maritime transport: The carbon costs of maritime transport will affect freight routes across Europe and the Nordic countries.
These changes will apply to terminal, partial (LTL) and full (FTL) loads. The additional charges will be automatically included in the price calculations in e-ace from 15 January 2025.
